| Friends through all seasons (31 Dec/Relish/Botanical Gardens) |
2011 has been an incredibly fast year, which presumedly equates for a smooth and good year.
Personal Life
I thank God for enriching me to become a stronger and more independent woman. I am truly grateful and blessed for a wonderful family that has allowed me to expand more horizons, allowing and encouraging me to travel to 7 countries in a single year even though I may not have deserved it.
Work/School
I thank God that He has placed me in a new environment, but has placed special friends beside me to cheer me on in University. I recognize that it is the hand of God that He has "coincidentally" done this as previously happened in Poly.
Work has been interesting- I enjoyed working at both workplace even they both have different environments. Lockton has allowed me to gain insight to what the company does, eventually gaining an interest in that sector. Even though it might have been a short journey, it was a meaningful even doing the minute and menial work. As for the later part of the year, work has been great. Learning new ropes, different areas of an e-retail store, dynamics of the company etc. I thank God for this wonderful opportunity that He has placed in front of me. For great bosses and colleagues, and to new friends :)
Fortunately or not- I have realised that I enjoy work compared to studying!
Friends/Church
I thank God for friendships that never dies. I thank God for my mentor who never forsakes me even though I tend not to share much about my personal lives. For friends who I am open up honestly to- for good times, for not so good times. For pure joy and laughter and in tears and frustration. I thank God for you! For the cell group that always bring joy into my life, with their jokes and sharings :)
Things that I would like to work on:
- To become more disciplined in following my schedule (i.e. swimming and jogging)
- 47kg 47 kg 47kg!
- To let my actions speak louder than words
- Be more thoughtful and less hot tempered
- Do my QT daily
- And, to do all things with a spirit of excellence
Dear God, I thank you for You.
